Confirmed from Blowing Springs MTB Trail Head/back 40's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Blowing Springs MTB Trail Head/back 40

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (152 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 10 mentions

“Overall there is a good mix of flow and technical amidst beautiful natural features so that just about anybody can have a great time on these trails.”

Not a mountain biker but a hiker here. The blowing springs loop is a pretty nice hike without a long drive. A couple intersections aren't labeled that great (all trails app helps keep you in the right direction) but it's not bad.

This is one of the best MTB trail systems in the area and definitely gets less attention and traffic compared to other nearby trail systems. My preferred loop here is to ride the north blowing springs loop, starting from the east side, then ride blowing springs loop (black section) from east to west, come back on boom…

This place goes. An underrated, or undiscoverable, piece of nature just off the beaten path in Bella Vista. The trails were great and it's a nice cozy little spot.

Absolutely beautiful. The Loop Trail was well marked and beautiful. The waterfall and caves near the parking lot were a highlight. A very beautiful trail. Nice and shady on a hot summer day. Definitely walk the Boom Diggity trail. Magnificent!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
