Confirmed from Blowing Springs Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

👟 good for all levels 2 mentions

“Cool and shaded with shallow water for all ages to play and enjoy the creek.”

Great location to hike and bike. There is good parking, a nice paved trail, and several hiking/biking trails of various levels. I would really recommend hiking the Sally trail (near the veteran's wall of honor), you can also loop back and hike Smuggler's Run which is flatter, easier, and a little less beautiful.

Beautiful place and all the biking and hiking you could ask for. Brough our little one and 2 dogs and had a great time walking the trails. The camp site is nice spaces are a little tight, but we don’t have a big camper so it wasn’t too bad. Definitely want to go back!

This is a well developed park, with RV spots, cute tiny cabins with AC, camping spots and a nice day use area called the Gear Garden that hosts Sunday evening free jazz nights that are super family friendly.

Wow! A little expensive. Not a wilderness campground. But an awesome bath house and laundry area! With a reading room and coloring books for the kids. Electric hook ups with water at each site . Great hiking/mountain biking trails

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
  • LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
