Confirmed from Blue Heron Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Blue Heron Park
We've been here 2 times for disc golf, and will probably return in the future. They have a fairly easy course laid out, mostly open fairways, with some trees and mounds strategically placed for obstacles.
Great place for doggos and kids to roam. There are some ponds(?) or bodies of water that the trail encircles, and a pavilion with picnic tables that look to be in great shape. The park did not have a lot of shelter from wind or sun, but that made it feel like a safe and comfortable place as well.
Nice park with ponds that you can fish in I caught a few blue gills with my son . There is golf there and a 1 mile waking track, many geese make sure you tap dance around the geese poop
Been coming here for years. Always well maintained. Fantastic beginners course or just for practice. Also has a nice body of water with a walking path.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
