Beautiful public park with wide paved trails with mowed shoulders. Wildlife, birds, and natural plants are abundant. There must be 10 +/- deer that call this urban nature park home. There is also wooded dirt and wood chip paths for the more adventurous walkers.
Just discovered this place after living in como for decades, doh! We walked our dogs on the Scott Branch trail section, where they are allowed. Haven't thoroughly explored the entire nature area yet, but we enjoyed our stroll today. Seems like a nice place to soak up the outdoors, watch birds, hike around a little.
Nice walking paths. Interesting playground area. I imagine this is prettier in the spring/summer, but for a warm day in February, it was a great place to get in some steps.
It's a wonderful place to walk and see birds. If you have little kiddos it is great place for them to hike. The trails are short and easy to follow.
