Confirmed from Bosque Del Rio Hondo's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with trails, picnic tables, and a public restroom, plus opportunities for horseback riding and boating.

beautiful place, been going here with family since i was a little girl now i am a teen going with friends! It’s a local and very peaceful area to go to w the ppl u Love to be around, i would recommend to bring water and some bug spray☺️ There’s a beautiful spot with water and it kinda looks like a waterfall if you…
Love the nature here. Lots of walking and exploring. Looks a little scary, but never has any problems.
This is the smallest park around this area. It has a lawn area for picnic. 2 picnic benches with tables. 1 adult exercise equipment. No playground for the kids. It does have decently maintained bathrooms. I believe most of the people come here to go biking with he biking trail.
This trail offers free parking, restrooms are nearby. There are benches around to sit and relax. You can hear the birds and I also saw a wild rabbit. There is a section where you can bike ride along the river. Very enjoyable.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
