Confirmed from Bradford Park Nature Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Bradford Park Nature Trail
“The complex has disc golf course that seems to be popular, soccer fields are well maintained and always active.”
Wow !! The trail entrance is sort of hidden (may be for a reason), went to the disc course accidentally, but a couple of those teams help me find this trail!! Absolute beauty right in between Harrisburg and Mecklenburg.
TUE 2025.08.26 06:15, i arrived and parked at the for my "2-in-1 Deal" : (1) morning walk to calm my nerves before (2) my going for the 08:00 dental appointment at Northcross Center, Huntersville. Many thanks to the The Town of Huntersville P&R for the well-maintained, clean and lovely R.C. Bradford Park.
This place is excellent for walking your dog through an enchanting forest trail. 3 routes u can take , all lead back to same spot. I enjoy coming here with my dog and she loves it. The complex has disc golf course that seems to be popular, soccer fields are well maintained and always active.
Kind of hard to tell where the trail is sometimes, it's marked on some of the trees but if you're colorblind like me, bring someone else to find the way

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
