Confirmed from Bradford Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Bradford Preserve
With large athletic fields, an expansive trail network leading into adjacent woody hill, and easy to access free parking, Bradford Preserve is one of the best venues for recreation in South County.
Nice spot for a relaxed, easy walk. Also provides access to trails that wind through Woody Hill state forest.
Great starting location for trails to explore on foot or bike! Amazing place with well marked trails The signs include mileage and elevation! Very helpful.
Love to walk the dogs here. But be warned this place has a high amount of Karen traffic. They will chase you and your dogs down to make sure their dogs get to meet yours even if you try to stay away. Then get nasty when you tell them to keep their dogs away from yours. Place is great most of the time!!!

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
