We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Grills Wildlife Sanctuary, Hopkinton yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

👟 good for all levels 2 mentions

“Great hiking for all levels”

Lots of trails and several cool bridges. My kids like that there are benches and picnic tables along the way to rest their legs.

★★★★★ — Amy , Mar 2021

Lots of trail and multiple trailheads. Paths are well marked and well maintained. This is a great place for kids and dogs. There is an archeological section that you can pass through that feels special while you are there.

★★★★★ — Timothy , Aug 2023

A pleasant hike. Well marked trails. An easy walk. Most of the trail is under tree cover.

★★★★★ — Steve , Oct 2022

Great forest atmosphere with plenty of resting locations, some with picnic tables. A few great points of interest (bridges and creeks with mini waterfalls). Some trails have moderate inclines that aren't mentioned on the trailhead marker but are otherwise easy to follow.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
