We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Brennan Recreation Area yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Brennan Recreation Area
A great part of Rouge Park. There's plenty to do, 18 hole golf course, with a driving range, I'm watching the new tennis courts being constructed, and many are playing basketball, barbecue, walking around the track and having a great time. Unfortunately the swimming pool isn't open, but I enjoy the park!
We had a phenomenal time at the Brennan Recreation Area. We visited for the Diner en Blanc 2019 event adjacent to the Brennan Pool. Hundreds of diners dressed in all white attended and brought their white table cloths, centerpieces, tables, chairs, food, friends and good vibes.
Trail conditions & character
“There’s a medium sized parking lot nearby and plenty of street parking.”
