Confirmed from Brewer Brook Dam Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Brewer Brook Dam Trail
“Beautiful place to go for a walk and to takens nature if you're lucky fall the map if you can find one to the 100 year old oak tree”
“Small parking area, pleasant and quiet thinking place.”
Great for birding. Trail isn't very well kept. One end of the trail is extremely steep and basically impassible in winter if it's very icy. It's also pretty rocky, and very muddy and buggy in season. No bathrooms or other facilities. Nice short hike loop trail around the pond.
Great hiking loop. Pretty flat and good for all. I took my 3 year old. He did it but was tired towards the end. Well marked. 1.3mi loop
Small parking area, pleasant and quiet thinking place. Flat and wide walking path and short loop is good for smaller kids. Park allows on-leash dogs. Lots of small wildlife watching: dragonflies, frogs, turtles, tiny fish, and the occasional (harmless) basking black snake.
Beautiful walk, about 45 minutes to go around the pond. Lovely woods and wildlife, including an active beaver lodge.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
