Confirmed from Briar Bay Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Shady, kid-friendly park with swings, slides and a baseball field, plus peaceful vibes.

What runners say about Briar Bay Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (94 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🌳 shaded & cool 3 mentions

“Because of that, not many people go here, so it's pretty relaxing because there's a lot of big Shady trees.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 6 mentions

“Small, quiet, out of the way park to enjoy your lunch or take the kids to play in the play area.”

This park is a pretty basic and small park. They only have one Grill in the entire park. The park consists of a oval type walking path, and then a nice little kids playground area. And that's it. Because of that, not many people go here, so it's pretty relaxing because there's a lot of big Shady trees.

This park is small and hidden Perfect for a little quite walk. There is a playground for the kids, but NO restrooms.

★★★★☆ — Johny , Feb 2021

Great park even has a small trail you can walk with the kids on ...nature at its finest

★★★★★ — Otis , May 2023

I've been coming to this park over 15 years. I wish they would improve the playground more! I go here mainly for a quick walk or to play in the field

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🤫 Quiet / uncrowded 6 mentions

“Small, quiet, out of the way park to enjoy your lunch or take the kids to play in the play area.”

  • ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
  • LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
