Confirmed from Bringle Lake Park West's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Serene lakefront gathering place with fishing piers, a covered playground & sand volleyball.
What runners say about Bringle Lake Park West
“It was very nice and the park and pathways were nice and clean.”
“Great park, beautiful lake, good for fishing or birding.”
“It's not Lake Michigan which I absolutely Adore, but it's a quiet water spot aside from Wright Patman Lake 🏞️ in this area.”
“Very dog friendly, there's a boating ramp, you can fish here, there's plenty to do.”
Enjoy playing volleyball, eating lunch, and walking our dogs at both East and West.
Update: May 1, 2024 This Park has been phenomenal, it is coming up to The Wine Fest by Ledwell and my and I are excited. Have you seen the updated Park, we now walk around it most evenings for about a mile but mostly 2 and some change. Matter of fact she's putting her shoes on now.
The park is great and they have done a ton of work out there over the years and it shows. It is well maintained and taken care of. If I had any complaint at all it would not have anything to do with the people taking care of the lake in the park it would be against all of the idiots out there in their giant bass boats…
The absolute feeling of safety when you walk or bike around the trails. My family spent a couple of hours walking through all the winding trails in the forrest and around the lake finding new paths each turn we went. There were also hidden doors and faces built into random trees adding a little fun to the trip.
Trail conditions & character
“The bad, just watch out for the poo, from the foul it's excusable but from the dogs that the owner leaves behind is certainly a finable thing.”

- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
