The volunteers do a great job of explaining the raptors. They had a Mississippi kite, a estrel, a screech owl, and a red shoulder hawk. There is a little nature walk where the volunteer pointed out the wild onions, the poison ivy (did you know it grows up trees in feathered looking vines?

We spent our time on the Raptor Reserve. A nice plot of land that is quiet and spacious. The view of Lake Lavon in the morning was wonderful. It was peaceful walking around between the lake and the pond.
Wonderful park for our Girl Scout camp. Excellent trails for hiking and so quiet! Lake view and fishing are excellent!
