Confirmed from Brookhaven Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Shaded recreation complex with multi-use sports fields, a dog park, community center & playground.
What runners say about Brookhaven Park
“Plenty of parking, clean restrooms, fountains and a splash area for the pups ❤️.”
“Love all the birds and squirrels running around.”
“This park is very well maintained but it's not beginner friendly.”
“My dog loved the park visiting with all the dogs and running around.”
Love everything about this park! Huge open space with lots of nooks and crannies for all the dogs to find. There's a little creek, a couple of bridges, wide open space, lots of shady treed areas and tons of benches for people to sit. Swings too! Love all the birds and squirrels running around. Girls loved chasing them.
Huge park with TONS of room for your dogs to explore. Everyone I've met here is very friendly and the park is big enough to social distance even if there are a lot of people there. Our dogs LOVE this park. There are open areas, wooded areas and even a little creek.
Great off leash dog park!!! Lots of space and a little creek where the doggos swim. A nice walk for the hoomans, too. Small parking lot but we've always found a spot. The park never feels crowded and most dog owners who come here are very responsible.
The parking close to the park sucks, but the paved parking in the front is good as long as it is after a certain time. We visited and it seemed like there were dogs everywhere. It is apparently a popular place to bring your dog in that area. My dog loved the park visiting with all the dogs and running around.

“If you have a dog that has poor recall or gets easily overwhelmed, you will struggle here.”
