Confirmed from Path400's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Path400

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (33 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 4 mentions

“The area is safe and clean and is a good place to get in some steps.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 3 mentions

“Great views going into lenox and lots of nice murals/ cute little trinkets along the way!”

🏃 great for running 2 mentions

“But for big city living, it’s a great place to walk, jog, ride a bike, walk your pet, and decompress.”

A fun walk, DONT forget water / sunscreen - it’s a LONG walk. Best to take a bike if you want to go slow and enjoy the scenery.

Path is still under construction but the swamp and green space in middle of a urban areas is great. Not a peaceful nature path but a convenient way to get from Cheshire Bridge / Sidney Marcus to Lenox / Peachtree Hills. PATH400 runs along the spine of GA 400 and, once complete, will provide a 5.

★★★★★ — Temba , Aug 2019

I like using Path400 as part of a longer daytime ride that also incorporates Peachtree Creek Greenway. So much good biking in Atlanta, if you know where to look and when to go! As always: Advise caution while biking around other people walking, children, dogs. Have seen lots of dogs off leash on Path 400.

Buckhead is more than fancy restaurants, stores, traffic and offices. To release some endorphins, there are a few nature trails. Very walkable, paved, clean, and it feels safe. You can hear highway traffic, but it isn’t too distracting.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
