Confirmed from Brookview Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
This 33-acre public space offers playground equipment, trails & multiple sport courts & fields.
What runners say about Brookview Park
“The place was clean, the bathrooms were clean and the people working at the desk and with the party rooms were nice.”
“It’s very family friendly it’s big and beautiful and very peaceful and if you want to go alone and relax and read you can.”
“The picnic area is spacious and nice for spreading out in the shade!”
“The playground is great for all ages, as the pirate ship is designed for younger kiddos, the big playground has some accessibility for a wide age range.”
This place is huge with lots of trails. There are Drinking fountains, a volleyball court, picnic area and a huge playground. Playground includes a sandpit, a variety of different swings, slides, a few spinning rides or merry go round type of rides, spider web, rock climbing wall, monkey bars, and more.
My Daugher had a birthday party to attend at this location and it was really nice. The place was clean, the bathrooms were clean and the people working at the desk and with the party rooms were nice. The group had a party room and that was awesome because the place was packed.
Wonderful park. Many areas to park. Very pristinely groomed grounds. Extremely clean bathrooms (I've never seen a community bathroom so clean). Bucolic settings for picnics, family, or any social gathering. Ample picnic tables. Awesome paths for walking or running. Small ponds filled with ducks and geese.
This is a great public space with a large play area, divided out for larger kids and smaller kids, plus a separate area for swings. On top of that, there is ample green space for distancing, for running, or just about anything one would enjoy doing with a giant yard. Great spaces for picnics, too.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
