Confirmed from Texa-Tonka Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Kid-friendly park with a playground, picnic areas, and trails.
What runners say about Texa-Tonka Park
“Great spot for a stroll, beautiful view and lots of little hidden foot paths through the woods that are worth exploring.”
No drinking fountain. Some picnic benches and walking trails. Slides, regular swings a baby swing, two person swing ,and more.
Love the water overlook, picnic tables, walking/bike trails and small playground. It's like a tiny, hidden nature oasis. The trail is perfect for seeing all the fall colors on the trees too. If you catch it at the right time.
My girlfriend and I love taking walks through this park. I also come here to run often. Lovely facilities and well kept up.
Nice trail for walk and bikkng. Has a beautiful play area for kids with lake near by. It was a hot day with 97 on the board, but the shades and wind was so good that I end up spending more time than intended for a warm sunny day.
