Confirmed from Brothers Pond Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
16.12-acre park with fishing & practice fields, plus a playground, picnic shelter & lighted trail.
What runners say about Brothers Pond Park
“The park is well maintained and well lit for those of us who like to run when it's getting dark.”
“Great trails, lots of shade, fun playground, and cutest squirrels!”
Fun park almost 14 acres of wood, big field and a pond with a cute playground. Parking on the street is the only drawback, but Ponderosa is quiet enough to park safely. Always fun to see the wildlife (rabbits, squirrels, owls in the evening).
I've enjoyed this park for the past 10 years. I used to jog here and swing while stargazing as a graduate student. Now I bring my 1 year old son about once a week. It's never crowded, and the playground is covered so it's perfect for sunny days. It's spacious and well maintained.
I frequent this park 2-3 times a week. I throughly enjoy feeding the ducks that live at the pond. If you do plan on feeding the ducks I suggest you get duck safe pellets, lettuce, corn, peas, or cracked corn. Not breads, chips, crackers or cereal as those are potentially harmful to them.
closest neighborhood park of mine, take walks with my dog weekly, lots of activity at this park, we love the large open field and the nature trail/sidewalk. Small fish pond is FILLED with turtles in the summer, and lots of kids fishing!

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
