Confirmed from Brownell Memorial Park & Carillon Tower's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxed lakeside destination for walking and bird-watching trails winding through cypress swamps.
What runners say about Brownell Memorial Park & Carillon Tower
“The nature was so lush and the bell tower sounded so beautifully, only complaint was the visitors center not being very up to date and clean.”
“The tower bells were beautiful to listen to while we enjoyed the bird sanctuary and took in the views of the lake!”
“Beautifully peaceful, sound of the bells is just a little touch of magical delight when visiting.”
Beautiful grounds with views of the lake as well as a bell tower playing on the quarter hour. The walking path leads through swampy areas to the lake front. Admission is free at this time. The visitor center is staffed by a very nice lady who we really enjoyed talking with.
What a sweet little park for a short walk and enjoying the music from the bell tower and the scenery. Enjoyed visiting with the lovely lady at the information cottage and saw lots of birds, a gator and lovely greenery. A special oasis.
Small quiet park. If you speed walk, you can get through the whole thing in about 10 minutes. But it’s cute, and it’s meant more for sitting and observing. I enjoyed my time there.
Beautiful view of the lake from this short nature trail. Worth a visit
