Confirmed from Bucks Hill Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Clean green space with baseball fields, picnic tables and a splash pad, plus playgrounds.
What runners say about Bucks Hill Park
“Good and spacious park, however for those people with dogs, please clean up poop after dogs, especially on the kids playground.”
“Very windy that day but it was a beautiful day and members of the Connecticut District Council Men's Ministry enjoyed the time there!”
I'm biased with this park because I grew up going there almost daily since I was five years old. Back then it was called Montoe Park. Lots of great memories at this park for me! Since it was renovated, Bucks Hill Park has blossomed into a nicer park.
huge park. lots of space for everyone. 2 different parties were taking place, plus a football game. that's how big it is. there's a tennis court, but it needs to be reserved as well as the gazebo. Great place for a walk or just to relax and watch your children play.
A beautiful park and wonderful place to relax and unwind. There are baseball and softball fields, a tennis court, two play set areas, a water park area for the kids and adults to get wet and not to mention, long and beautiful walking trails.
Absolutely love walking through the woods with my dog my friend and her dogs. Beautiful paths. I love walking in the woods. So glad that I just recently found this place thanks to my friend
