We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Whitestone Cliffs Trail yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Whitestone Cliffs Trail
“Marred by graffiti and fire, but still an awesome hike and bleakly beautiful.”
Marked trail clean definitely not for beginners it's a steep almost 1-2mi incline and hiking shoes or good sneakers highly suggested. We're not exactly sure where we were supposed to park?? Noticed as we made it straight down hill back to our car there was a No Parking sign. 🤦♀️ oops Overall nice clean cardio trail.✌🏼
The main blue blazed trail is moderate with a nice incline to the top. The views are unremarkable, though a refreshing escape from Waterbury.
This is a great trail. Very diverse and beautiful. Views, waterfall, cliffs, everything you could ask for in a short hike.
Marred by graffiti and fire, but still an awesome hike and bleakly beautiful. Amazing rock formations.
