Purple heart trail did not disappoint. It has a sandy trail that's shared with horses. The view of the lake from several vantage points including a raised platform is great. There are several off shoots to make ur walk even longer. Tons of wildlife in the area.
Nice, quiet and clean walking trail. Nothing for children here. If your bringing your bed, just remember to pick up after them. Remember to stay hydrated!
Amazing bog with lots of wildlife to observe including frogs, fish, and turtles. Nice trail with lots of access points to water. Some spots muddy with carnivorous plants. Be ready for mosquitoes in season. A well kept secret because hardly anyone is here.
A great and quiet place in the middle of Jackson. Nothing for infants or toddlers. Anyone over 4 should enjoy the walk. If you want to do any of the complete circuits bring water and wear appropriate foot gear.
