Confirmed from Byrne Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Scenic pasture backed by wooded hills and rolling hills, with laid-back walking trails and wildlife.

“It was so much fun for my boys to walk up and pet the horses, I was shocked how calm and friendly all the horses were.”
“A Delightful Easy Hike with Magnificent Trees & Free Range Horses in the soft morning sun made our romantic morning as we had the whole place to ourselves around 830 AM.”
Very pretty drive to get to the preserve. Once there you can find parking easily. I walked around the stables and saw the beautiful horses. Horse riding classes were on going. If you love animals you can get up close to see them. I would not touch them even one appeared to be very friendly (see pic).
Byrne Preserve is a hidden gem tucked away in the rolling hills near foothill nature preserve. The natural beauty of the area is awe-inspiring, with oak trees and wildflowers dotting the landscape.
Beautiful place for family outdoors. Green hills, happy horses, stunning landscape. Easy and basic trails, very kid and dog friendly. Plenty parking.
Great hidden gem in LAH. Gorgeous place to walk with dogs so nice that they are allowed even with all the horses roaming free.
