Confirmed from Byron Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Large park featuring a playground and sports fields as well as swings for kids.
What runners say about Byron Park
“Is side by side on Express way , but is nice and clean”
Small Amazing park from swings to slides! They have an amazing path wrapped around the whole thing, Tenis courts, and a baseball/softball field.
This is one of the few parks within this particular neighborhood. I love that there is a track that goes around the park that is about a quarter of a mile long. So if you were to walk or run it four times it would equal a mile. There are enough swings, slides, field, and tennis courts for everyone.
Nice, safe park with its own parking lot. The playground is close to the parking lot and is far from road. There is a lot of green area to run around and the two main structures can keep the little ones busy. Plenty of swings for everybody.
Large park. Lots of space to walk laps or run around in the field. I like how there is also a section for smaller children which makes it easier when you have children different ages and abilities. Fairly clean park too. I will say that many I see clean up after their dogs.
Trail conditions & character
“Cute playground with wood chips, lots of climbing features, a little tots play structure and a big kids playground.”
