Confirmed from Cadron Settlement Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
This 150-acre park features a reconstructed blockhouse, a boat ramp, hiking trails & more.
What runners say about Cadron Settlement Park
“There was plenty of picnic tables and it seemed well kept.”
“The old Blockhouse is very interesting and has historical signs, with a great view of the river.”
This was the first time I have ever visited this park. It is a nice enough park. With river access and trails. Very peaceful. Full of history but with mixed emotions because my father's family were Cherokee.
We LOVE this park. The old Blockhouse is very interesting and has historical signs, with a great view of the river. Great for pictures. There are many walking and biking trails as well as picnic areas and a Pavillion.
Nice place to hike around in the forest. Not too busy when we were there. There was about 20 tent campsites. No water spigot that we saw. Bring big spray. There is an old block fort to check out.
Beautiful lookout. We enjoyed the walking trails! There was plenty of picnic tables and it seemed well kept. First time visiting. Will be back!
