Confirmed from Calafia Beach Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Picturesque beachfront park providing swimming, surfing & open recreational space with bluff views.

“The park is highly recommended for its beautiful sunsets, family-friendly atmosphere, and close proximity to the pier.”
“It’s away from the highway’s and main roads and has been an uncrowded beach whenever I’ve stopped by to do some quiet beach hiking.”
Loved this beach for it’s unspoiled natural beauty! The water, sand and surrounding landscape was clean, with nice picnic areas and restrooms nearby. It’s away from the highway’s and main roads and has been an uncrowded beach whenever I’ve stopped by to do some quiet beach hiking.
Beautiful beach with life guards and a restroom. Parking is paid through an app you have to download. In June 2024 it was 20 for the day on the weekend. Parking was full on Sunday afternoon, but there a bunch of spots. Beautiful and clean beach overall.
Loved this beach, less crowded, enough parking space, very scenic for photography, kids enjoyed it the most, probably the best place to watch the sunset 🌅 there is a train track in parallel. Carry enough water with you. Definitely recommended
California is beautiful. I was just swinging by and stopped here to check out the ocean. There is ample parking, although you have to pay for it (I only noticed the pay box as I was pulling out!). The beach is great and there was a walking path that went on for quite a bit.
