There used to be so much more here. I am told that the city is working to add more again. There used to be restrooms that were always open and available. There used to be so much more playground stuff to play on that was wood, not metal. When I say "used to be," I am referring to probably 20 years ago.
This park is right next to the police station so I feel comfortable walking here on the trail day or night. I have always loved this park. The playground is small but it's shaded and a great place to bring the kids out of the heat in the summer.
Absolutely beautiful little place. There is a wonderful thick canopy of trees that shade the walking path, slides, swings and other equipment for children to play on. Clean restrooms conveniently located. A pavilion and many picnic tables excellent place for a bag lunch.
We went for Christmas to walk through the trees and enjoy the lights. The pathway was paved nicely. It’s a good place to take families and walk your furbaby.
