Confirmed from Weathington Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This is a beautiful and amazing view! Had no idea this existed until we passed by and saw the sign. We were out for a drive and made an u-turn immediately. Small walking trail, public restrooms, and 2 pretty big viewing decks to look out over Lake Guntersville and the Tennessee River.

A pretty little park With a amazing view. Has a nice little walking Path. For couples in the evening can be a romantic little spot. The sunsets very beautiful. It's one of those Views you got To see At least1 time. Sometimes it's just a nice place to hang out evens just to collect your thoughts.

Easy marked signage to access this beautiful overlook. We were surprised to see such a gorgeous view and happy to see paved access for wheelchair users. We enjoyed being able to sit and relax on a bench right at the oath so my son's wheelchair didn't have to leave the pavement.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
