What runners say about Canal Park- Towpath Trail (trailhead)
There seems to be some improvements and additions to the Towpath Trail. The connector to the Pickaway Trail has been improved and is easier to cross the street to the parking area and Pickaway Trail. Also a bridge has been added to safely cross the canal.
This park really is stretched out and located in a country setting that gets very little traffic and therefore very little noise. Even the straight line Towpath Trail where you have to backtrack to your car is well worth that and there are other loop configurations that are possible to connect.
I love waking in Living History!! It was great to see the gate where water was allowed into the towpath. Also, they had great activities for kids.
It's a nice, clean path to walk. Beautiful foliage, flowers, animals, and history!
