Confirmed from Cannongate Nature Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Cannongate Nature Park
“Totally shaded, so it's pleasant even in the hot sun.”
The trail is about a mile if you take all the loops. It's a nice spot, good paths for walking or mountain biking. The view of the trail is actually quite varied and beautiful! Totally shaded, so it's pleasant even in the hot sun. It wasn't buggy when I went early afternoon in July.
Total trail is almost exactly 2 miles. There is a lot of road noise so it isn't exactly a great relaxing trail. But with all the jumps, twists and turns, it isn't exactly a relaxing trail to begin with. Trails are all smooth and obviously cared for with a good variety of hills and turns.

“There are some occasional roots and rocks, but it feels like they were almost put there for something interesting.”
