Confirmed from Canyon Creek Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Recreational area with a playground, picnic tables, and spots for soccer and other sports.
What runners say about Canyon Creek Park
“Beautiful park, great views in the middle of an expensive neighbourhood.”
“Has multiple shaded areas where you can sit and watch the kids play in the playground.”
Absolutely beautiful park with spectacular views. Lots of activities for the kids. Plenty of benches, many with shade. A few tables, none I saw with shade. Unfortunately there are no BBQs.
Very beautiful scenery with a small playground and a flat grassy area. There is a small hiking trail. The only thing missing is the bathroom. It's a very good place for spending a short amount of time in it.
The city of San Jose and the county of Santa Clara really put their money back into this park I'm over years ago this park was not even worth going to have a good time it was great for barbecuing and having the family together with the new park that's in addition to the old one including with trails that you can go…
It's our neighborhood park! There's a nice grass area for running, tag, and smaller sports. It has a jungle gym for the kids. There's a gorgeous view of Eastside San Jose from the park. The only complaint is that the local troublemaker teenagers like to frequent the park, which adds to trouble in the neighborhood.
