Confirmed from Caporella Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Wonderful park ! We spent a great day here enjoying the waterpark, playground, walking on the trail and having a picnic. The amenities are great !

Love doing my morning walks here! Very peaceful park. UPDATE!!!! This park is newly renovated and AMAZING! I love it even more!

★★★★★ — Ebony , Feb 2024

They really pushed the envelope on the upgrade. Very nice looking and layout. Plus practical for use for many. Can charge electric cars, sunbathe if there is no one fishing on fishing pier, Great play areas , wet or dry for the kiddos. Paved nicely all the way around lake for folks getting them miles in.

★★★★★ — Don , Dec 2023

My wife and I took our niece here today, and after the renovations the park is first class! From the water park area, to the massive playground, walking track, and dock on the lake, the city really did a nice job on this place and spared no expense!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🅿️ Trailhead parking 8 mentions

“Due to the event there was limited parking on-site, but there was event parking across the street on the grass in addition a shuttle service.”

🚻 Restrooms 7 mentions

“The ONLY reasons I'm not giving it 5 stars is because there is no changing table in the restroom, the dock is covered in duck poop, and there's an fire ant issue.”

Plan your run at Caporella Park

The practical stuff

  • AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
  • Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
