Confirmed from Carpenter Park Fields' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Scenic park featuring kid-friendly amenities, a pool, trails, a playground and a lake.
What runners say about Carpenter Park Fields
“So beautiful with lots of Christmas lights, a elfs village & fire pits to gather around & enjoy.”
A very well maintained recreational park by the city of Thornton. I go there every morning for my 3k walks. The recreational center is located within the park and has one of the best indoor swimming pools besides other facilities like basketball courts, exercise rooms, etc.
Really love and enjoy this portion of the field. The city of Thornton host many different activities throughout the year hear. From fireworks displays, concerts, Thorntonfest, car shows, winter festivals and the like. When nothing is going on its still a great place to come for a walk.
It was good except for the gnats. They were everywhere. Nice walking paths. We found a legend that had color coded paths and the distance of those paths. Nice rec facility with a pool and jacuzzi. I'm sure I'll be back soon.
It's really nice to go through the park and walk around the lakes on the sidewalks, sing the kids and sing all the birds. The grass is always nice year round
