Confirmed from Castle Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Castle Park
“Additionally, there is a nice bike path nearby surrounded by beautiful nature.”
“Perfect for kids all ages from young baby to adults on the swings!”
This park is my all time favorite. Form the dragon to the castle structure to the big swing, this park has it all for many kids. You can climb 3 stories to the top and go down a slide. It’s very safe as long as you’re careful. It’s on a walking path and on a lake for scenery. Great for kids or all ages.
If you have you kids they will absolutely love the playground in this park. This park is nice because it takes you to other neighborhood's parks witch are pretty sweet. Bike paths and walking around is fun. Good pokemon go hunting
I don't actually go into the Castle Park but I start at the larger parking lot to the South I believe. Start off by walking around that lake which is just like you're up in Wisconsin just looking at greenery and the lake and ducks and then continue into the wooded part of the arboretum to finish your walk around that…
Awesome park for kids. Not just this part either: all of deer Park and Arbor Theater (just over the bridge, 200 yards away) are a wonderful place to play and explore. Great for little kids, no nearby roads to run in to. Drinking fountains, restrooms and picnic shelters right nearby.
