“Beautiful views and a wonderful experience.”
The dramatic canyon the city is named after. It's about a mile to the end from the trailhead at the top of the Cove housing development. Worth the extra rock scramble up to the plateau at the end. I've seen bighorn in several occasions, and tadpoles in the spring.
Good hike. It's easy at first then it gets harder later. A few rocky places and the further you go into the mountains, the easier it gets. A chill hike
Amazing trailhead! If you are lucky you might see the infamous big horn sheep like we did. What an experience.
