Confirmed from Cedar Creek Trail #476's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

👟 good for all levels 3 mentions

“Relatively easy hike with no monotonous switchbacks.”

What a beautiful autumn hike! The brush colors were gorgeous mid-October, and the waterfall is spectacular. Don't be discouraged by the fire damage. Such a hidden gem! There is a large parking area for those in a camper van or towing a small trailer.

Love this little hike. Strenuous if you’re out of shape, with a short steep start and otherwise very moderate and overall, very short. The falls will show up so quickly, it might surprise you. 50 minutes from the lot. Really beautiful despite the burn. Lots of bird activity.

Cool trail through a burned forest. Erie seeing the landscape. The trail led to a beautiful set of waterfalls making the long-ish hike worth it! There was no one else there so it was a nice break from the crowds in other parts of the cascades

★★★★★ — Brendan , Jul 2022

Tons of parking space available! Makes me think it is a popular trail. Hike to the falls was a short 1.5 miles with some elevation gain through a beautiful pine forest. We hiked it briskly so got our hearts pumping a bit.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
