Confirmed from Centennial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Nice medium sized city park in Irving area to see free Christmas lighting. Parking area is medium sized. It has a mobile restroom and a big covered picnic area and a walking trail surrounding a medium sized lake with a water fountain and a walking crossover bridge over the lake.

I love this park so much. I've lived in Irving most of my life and never regularly visited any of the parks, but I'm over at this park all the time. It's so clean! The maintenance crew is very active and does a great job.

I needed an airy space to walk and think. My gum is also great for this, it's just sometimes I need some fresh air to get me going, ease my mind, clear my head and experience nature! This place was that and more. And as an added bonus, there is a lake with ducks, etc. Perfect, serene and peaceful.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
