The weather is beautiful and is getting better now. Spring is in the air. If you've been spending way too much time indoors because of the snow and gloomy freezing wintery weather, now is the time to get back to outdoor activities, wake up those bodily muscles that have been asleep for months.
Beautiful park with a walking trail around a large retention pond. The trail could use slightly better grading to deal with a deep slant or two, but the elevation changes or something you wouldn’t expect here — it’s great to see retention ponds used so well.
I found this park to be amazing. If you like nature, walking, biking, sand volleyball, baseball or softball, kid playgrounds, family or group picnics, basketball, skateboarding, fishing this place has it all. Just a lap around the 12 acre lake will give you 5000 to 6000 steps.
Great little walking loop, give or take it's about a mile. Has a decent amount of elevation/ ups and downs for the area. Walkers, runners, families, bikes, rollerblading, baby strollers are all common users of the path.
