Confirmed from Central Perkiomen Valley Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Clean park featuring trails, picnic tables and fishing, plus a playground.
What runners say about Central Perkiomen Valley Park
“Paths and equipment at the play area are all very well kept .”
“A beautiful, easily accessible part of the Perkiomen Creek trail system located off Plank Rd.”
Went bike riding on the Perkiomen trail today. Had a great ride. Ate lunch at the park.
The park is nice and big, with a pavilion and a playground. Great for picnics and BBQ's. There are two parking lots in the park and additional parking across the street if the two lots are full. There are also restrooms on the edge of the park near the trail. Lots of open space to run and play.
We decided to hike on the Perkiomen Trail from this park. It's a very nice park with a large parking lot, playground, restrooms and picnic tables and benches. It's located just off Plank Road not too far from Rte. 29. It's a great place to bring young children, and it's a very convenient location to access the trail.
It has trails for walking and playgrounds for kids. There are tons of parking spots there on each side of the park. Also, if you like fishing, this park has a unique fishing spot under the bridge or shoreline off porkiomen creek
