Confirmed from Graterford Trailhead, Perkiomen Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Kid-friendly area with trails suitable for hiking and biking.
What runners say about Graterford Trailhead, Perkiomen Trail
“Well maintained and lovely views of the river.”
“Great trail location with some beautiful views of the perkiomen.”
Will consider returning to walk more of the trail on a weekday. Coming upon the oak tree was remarkable!
Nice trail. Mostly paved. A nice steady but slight incline after about a mile. But nothing crazy. Trail was clean and uncluttered. About 4 or so road crossings. So be aware. You also walk past a horse farm 🙂
Perkiomen Trail provides easy access to nature... Following the creek most of the way, you can exit suburbia and run, walk, or bike on a mix of paved and managed gravel trails for miles. Plenty of places to stop and rest and bathrooms every 5 miles or so.
This is a good put in spot, and there are bathrooms and water available about a mile north on the trail. Both directions are quite pretty and level and paved path for biking and strollers
