Confirmed from Cerise Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with trails, a state-of-the-art amphitheater, soccer, disc golf, and picnic tables, plus a dog park.
What runners say about Cerise Park
I can never share enough about this park and all its "mini-parks" within. Whether I'm playing disc golf or going for a winter walk with my Pug, it's always a peaceful and pleasant experience here. This place is as beautiful in winter as in summer, just with a different atmospheric charm.
We love this quiet park. The trails are fun to walk with my preschoolers. Feels like you are way out of town without the long drive. Bathrooms are clean and the dog water fountain is awesome :)
This park has one of the best dog parks I've ever been to. Large wood-chipped area with plenty of shade trees, trails, water fountain and poop bags available, and just outside the dog park is an opportunity for your furry friends to take a dip to cool off
The dog park of Montrose at Cerise Park was great. Working water fountain, plenty of pickup bags available. Shade and grass were abundant for dogs to enjoy.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
