Confirmed from West Main Trail Head's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
City park featuring hiking and biking trails, picnic tables, and a public restroom.
What runners say about West Main Trail Head
“Nice clean park and right off parking lot can get to the trail!”
“Beautiful little park, as well as a lot of parking for the trail head.”
It's a nice city park. I didn't go on the trail at least not yet. I was looking for an overnight parking other than Walmart, until this was nice to be able to park. A bunch of other people were here too overnight. it's been noisy since it's right next to main Street, but the overnight wasn't so bad.
Excellent place to start a walk through Cerise Park. It is only a short walk away from the dog park. Bathrooms available (summer only).
Great trails. Kudos to the city of Montrose for investing in their trail system.
Nice little park. Nice trail of off it. You can walk the trail by the river all the way down to the park and it's a nice walk. Fairly easy to walk as the main path has sidewalks. The breeze off the water makes it cooler.
