Confirmed from Chalco Hills Recreation Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
An ecological education center, a lake for fishing & boating, plus trails for hikers & joggers.

-As a local wedding photographer, Chalco Hills makes for a GREAT places to bring my couples to! It's full of very unique areas to take beautiful photos at. Highly recommend you visit and spend some time here.
we did our wedding photos here because my husband and I have been fishing multiple times great place for walks And taking your kid to the park, we had such a fun time multiple times.
Chalco is a beautiful area. There are so many things to do. Fishing, boating, walking, biking, playgrounds, sledding, picnicking, gaga, etc. I was VERY impressed with the nature playground. My child care kids and I made a fort with firepit;) We also loved the sand play area with spinning equipment!
An absolutely wonderful park with a beautiful lake! The paved hiking path was easy to explore on my wheelchair and while it was used mostly by bicyclists, most of them would announced their presence as they approached me from the rear. There were several people fishing from both, the banks and the docks/platforms.
