Confirmed from Chaparral Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
This 100-acre public park has a swimming pool & fishing lake, plus sports courts & a playground.

love this park! The trees are so beautiful, and it has a nice walking path! And I've noticed that people are pretty friendly! Awesome Park, and lake for fishing, walking, picnicking, for children, and adults of all ages!
This place isn’t just a park, it’s like someone took the concept of “public space” and went full bodybuilder with it. It’s huge, loaded with trails, fields, courts, and random areas where you could probably start a flash mob or a medieval joust and no one would bat an eye.
Chaparral Park is one of our favorite spots to visit. We go there quite often, and it never disappoints. The park has a beautiful, peaceful vibe—especially during sunset. It’s a great place for everyone.
Lovely park with a paved walking path around a pond, a dog park, a playground, fishing, and bathrooms. There are lots of species of birds that visit this park to include cormorants, blue heron, killdeer, and even a bald eagle stalking ducklings.
