Confirmed from Charles H. Wilson Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Sports & recreation area for jogging, volleyball, basketball, tennis, roller hockey & more.
What runners say about Charles H. Wilson Park
“I love how well maintained the park is and it always feels like a welcoming and safe place whether I'm with someone else or alone.”
“Last week I was in need of a place to walk that would have shade because of the August heat.”
This is a great park that has a wide variety of recreation facilities. Two big baseball fields with four diamonds, tennis courts, baseball courts, picnic area, but also sports complex building that aren't common in other smaller rec centers.
Nice park with different areas to enjoy like basketball courts, playgrounds, restrooms, walking trail, parking lot and picnic tables. I was here to celebrate my friend's birthday and we had a great time.
Good park with walking path surrounded by big trees. Park have small kids play area which includes seasaw, swings, slides and that kind regular equipment. Park have many tennis courts. There is indoor lacrosse play area, I enjoyed watching match there! Free parking available both side of park.
I like to visit the farmer's market on Tuesdays and Saturdays, similarly to Downtown Long Beach on Fridays, and I walk on the tracks for the walkers, runners, and even seniors.
