I adore Charlestown state park. I live in UT but I now think of Charlestown as my home away from home and I love this forest! *pro tip: before starting a trail, grab a spiderweb stick. Be sure to leave it at a trail entrance for the next person! Enjoy the beauty.
I love that they paved the driveway and parking lot for Trail one. It looks really nice and makes access easier and safer. It's also another option for folks to walk on to avoid mud or ticks in the woods.
Awesome trails in pretty waterfalls also lots of bridges that you can stop and chill on. The scenery is great but some of the trails really need some better arrows to guide you in the right direction.
