Confirmed from Chatfield Hollow State Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Natural area with pine woods, streams, caves & rocky ledges, offering hiking, swimming & fishing.

Beautiful park and so many things to do here. You can go hiking, swimming, fishing, mountain biking or have a picnic. I always enjoy visiting here. Only thing to note, it looks like the recently paved the road in the park, and some of the speed bumps aren't marked.
It’s a beautiful park unfortunately we could not hike too much it was very cold this is just one side of the park. Planning to come back to hike the other parts. We love hiking try different places to go every time. Highly recommend it.
Good park! Chatfield has plenty of paved roads that run through out the park that are great for walking. It also has lots of trails. There are always lots of friendly people walking with dogs. There are porta potties throughout the park but they weren’t cleaned while we were there. Maybe it’s still off season.
This is one of my favorite parks in the state. Was here yesterday, the park is popping with fall colors. A great place if you're looking to go out for a walk in the woods ( trails are easy to moderate) or a stroll along the paved roads with your dog. And there are many beautiful spots here to picnic along the creek.
