Confirmed from Chetzemoka Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Landscaped park with a bandstand, picnic areas, playground & beach access, plus scenic views.
What runners say about Chetzemoka Park
“Well maintained and fairly spacious, with access to the beach (tides permitting), Chetzemoka is one of my favorite places to relax outdoors.”
“Picnic space available, gazebo for intimate events, beautiful garden areas, beach access & a sense of peace abounds.”
Beautiful park. Calming. Well used and well kept park. Beach access. The beach is a Rocky beach. At low tide it's a great walk. Beautiful water front. Romantic bridges. Lots of space for laying around. I wish I had spent more time with my GF here, laying and enjoying the quit peaceful time.
This is such a beautiful park. I am visiting Port Townsend over the weekend with my lovely wife for our 19th wedding anniversary. Driving around the town, we came across this park and decided to check it out. We had the pleasure of being greates by a family of deer as we entered the park.
A beautiful place for a short walk or picnic, a lovely spot for some photos through the flower trail, a kids playground and a tire swing, all of this with a spectacular view or the mountains and passing boats. A proper washroom with handicap access as well.
Absolutely gorgeous little park at the end of Port Townsend, walking distance to/from everywhere. Amazing views of the Salish Sea and Mount Baker if the conditions are right. Charming little playground with excellent beach access.
