We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Chimacum Ridge Community Forest yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Valley View Forest is the first phase of a Jefferson Land Trust project to protect and conserve Chimicum Ridge. The current site has some groomed trails, a short walk to a pavilion and will be a connecting gateway to the much more extensive ridge project trail system.
This was a new find for me. The paths are quite well cleared and this mossy branches in the maple grove were quite breathtaking. I think it’s a great walk for those looking get out, but don’t want a big trek. It took us under an hour to wander all the trails.

Great 3+ mile hike through and beside forest, with a few hill top views with benches. Includes some nice dense fern forest.
