Confirmed from Choate Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Nice park next to a beautiful Pond. Children will have fun and there’s a bike trails as well. Plenty of parking, a big play area for children, walking/bike trail, charging points for electric cars, lunch tables, fishing spots few workout areas for adults etc.,

Choate Park is a beautiful area with walking trails, a giant pond and stream. There's a playground for the kids and plenty of areas to have an old fashioned picnic. There's a lot of areas that would make great backgrounds for photography. There's plenty of parking and bathrooms as well as benches.

Green space for picnic, nature trail and walk and play. We felt very good visiting here. There is everything that an ideal park should have. A pond, walk area, a nice playground for kids, basketball court, lots of benches, picnic area, good parking space.

Best playground around!! Be careful on timing during the week as they have camps here in the summer and check the town page before you leave to make sure the splash pad is on for the day. I think they turn it on at 11AM. Even when the splash pad is turned off the playground itself is amazing.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
